[18] The Thompson submachine gun was also known informally as the "Tommy Gun"

and since then has has just a bit of wear

He remained there for over one year before a forced march back to Germany where he was liberated in late April 1945

The urge to collect artifacts from veterans and to write and publish their recollections was also part of a contest over who would get to write the history of the Civil War

and the bakelite cup has a crack running about halfway down the body

This is a lovely set of Civil War plates, the first being a gorgeous M1851 Federal Eagle Enlisted man & Non Commissioned Officers belt plate set with silver wreath indicating wear by EM & NCOs, and a circular federal eagle cartridge box plate with both of its loops retained. These came with a small label reading WILDERNESS 1962, which would indicate that these were found together in 1962 at the site of the
