The history of SG SPA starts in 2007 when the starting partners perceive the strong potential of the telecommunication and digital innovation market. In this new epochal scenario, the Company, then called SG Trading, initially invested in the marketing of Telecom Italia products. Since then, result after result, SG has constantly grown, with a well-structured and unrestrained expansion.
Today the Company is in fact distributor of the most important electronic premium brands, among which Huawei, Xiaomi, Amazfit, Tim, Panasonic, Roidmi and Sharp.
In 2010 SG creates and launches on the market its own brand Glam’Our, with which it produces mobile phones, smartphones and telephone accessories. Glam’Our products are added to the brands in our portfolio, thus strengthening the presence in the retail market and the experience in achieving high standards of satisfaction at the best possible price.
The main recently acquired clients have prestigious names such as Esselunga, Coop, Mediaworld in addition to Amazon, SMA, Metro Italia, Carrefour, Eprice, Groupon, Mondadori, Euronics, Expert, Iper, Il Gigante, Auchan, Conforama, Famila and Despar thus covering almost all of the large-scale retail distribution chains and of GDS and online sales channels.
In 2016 SG Trading becomes SG SPA and the company is quoted by Plimsoll (sector study “Wholesale Appliances and Consumer Electonics”) as the 11th Italian company in the sector by sales volume, showing a growth above the market average. Currently SG SPA is also the exclusive distributor of Tim, Huawei, Xiaomi, Amazfit, Panasonic, Roidmi and Sharp products for all the central south Italy.
